If you mean that you are not TTK yet, just know that there is a server sans lottery. I got a friend to play it thanks to it.

I'll be one once I got the PS Vita version :)
But hey, if there's a server without the lottery system, I might try it in order to understand how the game works.

Keep an eye on the @KanColle_STAFF Twitter feed. They usually announce the server slots every few weeks during the day. If you're quick (and Error Musume willing) you can get a spot for yourself just in time for Summer 2015. Good luck!

Good news then. The game removed the lottery system earlier this month. You can join the game freely.

I think a friend of mine who uses her as his lead battleship will be proud.

speaking of which, big sister certainly did sparkle in WoWS CBT (at OBT her range got nerfed but she is still in line thankfully) since she is virtually unrivaled when it came to pure, balls out, broadside to the point she blasted Nagato out of the water.

Did the range nerf make that big of a difference? I haven't reached her yet, but I was under the impression that the accuracy was totally unreliable at long ranges anyways.

Her stock run is agonizing. 14.5km on her 1914 dreadnought configuration where she did not have her large pagoda mast but her battery potential still is unchanged; she can obliterate Nagato if all shots connect.
