    早苗さん、よく気づいたなあと思います(^^;)

We'd been receiving plan notification emails for a while ahead of time, but we just trusted them without confirming! I think it's a good thing Sanae-san noticed. (^^;)

Kogasa-san just can't seem to catch a break.

Still, I'm curious to know which part of Taiwan he's headed for. Been to Taipei twice for work and the business hotels there are typically never at 100% occupancy.

Also, I cannot emphasize enough that the ability to speak Hokkien in Taiwan will come in very handy. They can speak passable English, but there will be times English just won't cut it. And you really don't want to speak in Mandarin lest you get mistaken for a mainlander.

Reader-added tags include "Yamame Disease activated, "GJ, Sanae-san", and "Remote Yamame Virus".

The survey tries to avoid hotel heartbreak:

    Where shall stay the night?
    • Marisa's house
    • Alice's house
    • Yuukarin's house
    • Eientei
    • Moko-tan's house

Actually, the general Hokkien(福建话) and Taiwanese Hokkien(台语) are similar but different in a lot of ways. They have a certain slang for 台语 which sets them apart from the China ones.

For the poll, Alice or Moko-tan.

Been to Taiwan before, their Hokkien are different from the general one but not by much, and they can tell if you are a mainlander based on your accent. Also, they also speak Mandarin, but like Hokkien, their's are a bit different from the general one.

Not in my case. I'm a lot more fluent in Mandarin, but when I used it they thought I was a mainlander.

But when I switched over to Hokkien they could immediately identify my nationality correctly (i.e.: NOT from China)..
