    Awesome in much too many ways to count. But perhaps the most prominent is how she somehow resembles a moth rather than a butterfly here.

    You know... this makes me think that she's about take a thousand souls with her to that place of which I can NEVER spell nor pronounce (which may be a good thing, considering Japanese legends and myths suggesting that an mere utterance can lead to ruin).

    Actually, I think it's stated that every soul loosed from the mortal coil by Yuyuko's powers becomes hers to control, and she IS the princess of the netherworld, giving her royal command of the dead therein. She could quite possibly field a literal army of the dead if she so chose.

    Moths are also symbols of death much like the butterflies that circle her, only butterflies also mean rebirth. Together, with her resembling a moth and the butterflies that encircle her, they symbolize that she is death and her butterflies are rebirth.
