Strip 2: Mifi knows what's the deal with her. Mifi knows that it's one of Elza's extra-rare turn offs. Mifi doesn't give a fuck, she just wants mistress to deflower her.

Even if she is, apparently, drunk on tea, is "realfags" really something that Mifi would say? I thought she had comically formal speech in previous strips... (And "realfags" is a term I've never heard someone actually use before, at that.)

I think "realfags" comes from either 4chan or 2chan and refers to people who brag about having an outside life.

EDIT: Does it count as a spit take when it comes out the nose? We don't seem to have a tag for that sort of thing. As a side note; I hate it when I have to remove tags from these comics because of my need to always add a tag when I take one off, and these are always violently well tagged. I end up digging up tags with <5 posts in desperate maneuvers.

She only had comically formal (old) speech because she didn't know any better. Enough time has passed that Mifi knows that Elza was totally messing with her.

For someone who raised both Seren and Mifi from childhood to now, commitment is the last thing Elza is going to be concerned about.

Even so, this is a specific Internet sub-culture's slang we're talking about, not just her throwing contractions into her speech. Even if she's not speaking formally, there's a difference between how people speak to one another in real life, and how they speak on 4chan. I'd still assume this is like translating the equivalent of "thanks, I'll see you later" in Japanese into "kthxbi" in English in a face-to-face conversation.

Mifi used a 2ch term which is the equivalent of realfag. And she also stopped talking like a stereotypical samurai for most of her rant. I'm not 100% sure if that's because all samurais drop their odd speech patterns when they angry, or if Mifi just stopped doing it.

Well, if she was using 2chan slang, then I guess it's entirely justified to translate it to 4chan slang. Sorry, I didn't realize that was what was happening.
