Normally, I'd agree, but Gaddafi is an exception, mostly because he was so hilariously insane in ways only tangentialy related to his brutal horribleness.
I also submit that one way to get people to learn about history who would never open a textbook or online source is to pair it with cute girls (if not porn).
You know, in my country (my country is located far away from middle east), Gaddafi is not viewed as a dictator. There are many people named after him and many people honored him here.
