This Ausführung D is parked with the transmission and brake maintenance hatches visibly below the waterline. Probably not a good thing.

The allies used waterproof canvas on floating frames affixed to the chassis to allow their tanks to drive ashore from the assault ships. Upon reaching the shore, to canvas frame collapsed to allow vision over it as the tank exited from the water, then once the beachhead was established and the coast was more-or-less safe, the crews could ditch the frames in a few minutes to keep pushing through.
That said, I'm extremely curious as to how exactly do they keep the girls safe during matches if they use live ammunition (fin-stabilized discarding sabot penetrator, if the small craters created by the missed shots in ep.02 are any indication). I hope it all won't turn out to be a recollection when she's dying after being hit in the beginning of the first episode.
