And probably remembering those past chapters made Asuka think the only way to end up this is nightmare is terminating her. (Assuming my chronology is correct, of course. I wonder where's Shinji right now...)

I know you're probably joking, but I wrote my reasons above and tried to add some context to the situation Besides, that sweat on Asuka's face is suspicions... No, is not due to the heat, if that were the case, why Misato is not sweating too?
The lack of intonation you can put on written words is really annoying. And I don't want to use [sarcasm] or emotes, but I'm sure there's a way to make it obvious when I'm being ironic, without being too obvious. Cannot run a joke for too long, after all.
The person with the blue and red hat is supposed to be the player character. The picture depicts a scene from an event story called "The Beast Dream Salon", which was released a couple of months ago on the Global version of the game (but has been out much longer for the Japanese version).

Well, one of Musashi's secondaries got knocked out but Akagi's aircraft are marking the positions of the Zumwalts with smoke clouds for Friedrich der Grosse to spot since they can't radio back spotting information for various reasons (including a lack of radios and enemy comms jamming).
