yumi (bow)

A type of traditional Japanese bow with asymmetrical limbs, the upper limb being considerably longer. The bow is used in kyuudou (traditional Japanese archery).

Whilst yumi can refer to any type of bow in Japanese, on Danbooru this tag refers specifically to the traditional Japanese bow.
