ych commission

A type of commission (short for "Your Character Here") where the artist uploads an art piece featuring a template character, allowing others to commission a finished version of the piece wherein the "template" character is replaced with the commissioner's original character or other character of their choice.

They are particularly popular in the furry community. A dedicated website is often used to sell YCHs, YCH.Commishes.

For tagging purposes, this may refer to either the template or finished version of the image.
