vertical scroll comic
A comic published as a single long, vertical strip, making use of an infinite canvas rather than multiple pages so that it is easier to read on mobile devices. The format is popularized by Korean webcomics, the webtoon format of manhwa.
For tagging purposes, a non-Korean style comic can count if the strip has an aspect ratio of less than 1:4 (tall image), and uses vertical panels and/or carries certain unstructured aesthetics compared to the stacked boxes of a typical vertical 4koma.
Despite any long vertical strip being technically "not paginated", requiring scrolling to view, consider things like difficulty of splitting into equal pages if there aren't large gaps between panels (overlapping bubbles may cause this), etc.
