Condensation cones formed around objects moving at high speeds under certain conditions. When airflow around the object transitions from subsonic to supersonic, it suddenly drops in pressure and becomes colder. Water in the air then condenses and creates a vapor cone.

While not indicative of an object passing the sound barrier, it typically occurs at velocities close to Mach 1.
