A 1991 American film directed by James Cameron. The sequel to the 1984 film The Terminator and the second film in the Terminator franchise. Terminator 2 was a critical and commercial success, grossing $519–520.9 million at the box office to become the highest-grossing film of 1991 worldwide and the third-highest-grossing film of its time.
