A character featured in both Black Cat and To LOVE-Ru Darkness, sharing the same name and looks in both. Tearju wears glasses, has very long blonde hair and green eyes.

In Black Cat, she was the lead researcher on the nanotechnology project that created Eve, having used her own DNA as a base.

In To Love Ru, she is a new teacher at Yuuki Rito's school and an old friend of Mikado Ryouko. Is also a former biologist and delivered the genes for the creation of Konjiki no Yami. In other words, she is Yami's "mother".
