A retro-styled music and art genre that gained popularity in the 2010s, nostalgic of the aesthetics of the 1980s.
Common motifs include 3D wireframes, a purple and orange neon palette, the outrun sun, driving in a car, palm trees, huge buildings, glaring logos, etc.
Not be confused with vaporwave, which tends to be more surreal and ironic, with more 1990s influences.
