Squatting with the butt close to the ground, but with both feet planted flat on the ground instead of lifting up at the heels.
Traditionally known in the West as "Asian squatting" until the 2010s, when it became increasingly associated with Slavs, most prominently the Russians, through whom, specifically the track suit-wearing Gopniks, the squat achieved memedom, and thus most usually associated with online.
In Japan, it is popularly associated with delinquents, where it is known as "delinquent squatting" or "yankee squatting".
