A stereotypical "rebellious" and oftentimes outlaw youngster, especially teenage high school students.

Delinquents have come in many types in different times and places, but the stereotype tends to attach itself to whatever scary new subculture they have come up with at that time: greasers in 1950s America, mods and rockers in 1960s Britain, punks everywhere since the 1970s.
