Sand Worm (Final Fantasy) Wiki

Worm type enemy in the Final Fantasy series. Multiple varieties exist such as the Abyss Worm, but the desert lurking sandworms are the most common, present from Final Fantasy I. The standard appearance is a tubular worm with a circular teeth-rimmed maw.

One is a boss in the shifting sands of Final Fantasy V. It is customary to launch the gaping toothless worm of the Bikanel desert over the horizon with Auron's Shooting Star in Final Fantasy X .
