It has a mysterious, professional and sexy appearance. The character Bayonetta is a particularly notable source of inspiration on the style, with some even referring to it as "Bayonettacore".
The fashion consists of a mostly monochrome black-white-gray palette (though beige and red are also common), with a form fitting silhouette. Fetish elements such as leather and latex clothing, harnesses, and corsets are often incorporated. Common garments of choice include button-up shirts, turtleneck sweaters, pencil skirts, sheer thighhighs, peacoats, blazers, suit pants, and neckties. High heels and glasses are also staples of the style.
