oasis (band)
An English rock band that started in 1991 by the Gallagher brothers, Liam and his older brother Noel(vocalists), Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs(guitar), Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan(Bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll(drums). Often regarded as pioneers of the "Britpop" music scene. The band broke up in 2009 due to increasing animosity between the Gallagher brothers. Since the band's dissolution, Liam formed his owned Rock band called "Beady Eye" while Noel also form his own Rock band called "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds".
In August 2024, it was announced the Gallagher brothers have reconcile and reform Oasis and will begin a new 2025 concert Tour in the UK and Ireland.
