A character with a bulky, muscular physique that must have come from extensive training, body building or otherwise.
If the character has an athletic build that's not overly bulky, use toned instead. Details like bulkiness of the thick arms, a thick neck, a strongman waist and broad shoulders are a good way to distinguish between toned and muscular builds.
