Regular
morton koopa jr.
A character from the Mario series, he is one of the seven Koopalings that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. Morton appears in numerous platformers, serving as a world boss in one of the first seven worlds and also appears as a playable character in spin-offs, including Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart Tour.
Like his siblings, Morton uses his shell to attack and can be defeated by jumping on his head three times. He uses ground pounds to stun the player and uses his magic wand to summon spells or spiked balls. In New Super Mario Bros. U, he no longer has a wand and now uses a giant hammer filled with magic. He is also the physically strongest of the Koopalings, though he isn't as powerful as some of his other brothers, like Ludwig von Koopa or Roy Koopa.
Morton is depicted as rather simple-minded, being proudly more brawn than brains and is prone to temper tantrums. He likes to boast about his strength and often refers to himself in third-person. Like most of the Koopalings, he wears spiked bracelets on each arm and is the only Koopaling to not have a yellow skin complexion, being grey instead. He is also the largest of his siblings and has only three strands of hair, a grey spiked shell, a big mouth with large fangs and a star-shaped birthmark over his left eye.
He is named after Morton Downey Jr., a famed talk show host, actor and singer.
