Lil Nas X (real name Montero Lamar Hill) is an American Country Rap, Hip-hop and Pop singer.

He gain prominence in early 2019 with his first hit single, the Country Rap song "Old Town Road" which gain popularity in social media and music charts, which lead him winning Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 62 Grammy Music Awards.

On June 30, 2019, the last day of Pride Month, Lil Nas X came out publicly as gay, making him the first openly LGBTQ Black artist to win a Country Music Association award.
