Base Art
Langley has long, wavy, mint-green hair with a single side bun on her left side and brown eyes. She wears a dress shirt, a blue bowtie, a yellow vest, a black pencil skirt, and black pantyhose. She has a lab coat with an American flag print lining the inside, stars on her right and stripes on her left. She has black high heels with a rudder heel. She also wears oval glasses and wields a riding crop.
Her rigging is her ship model split into her bow on her left, and her stern on her right. The hulls are painted white, and each have a brown flight deck with white markings.
Retrofit Art
After her retrofit, she swaps out the dress shirt and vest combo for a sleeveless dress shirt with cleavage and navel cutouts. She also swaps the labcoat for a shoulderless black coat with alternating strips of starts and stripes. Her glasses are now rectangular as opposed to oval.
Her rigging now adopts a steel grey and black colorscheme. A notable difference is the bow-half is missing part of it's flight deck, a nod to her real life refit to a sea plane tender. Another difference is the bow and stern sections switched sides, with the bow on her right, and stern on her left.
In game, Langley is a teacher, often scolding the commander and bemoaning being treated like child due to her small stature (a nod to how small the ship was). Both her personality and her skill "First-Generation Carrier," which boosts carrier exp gain, are likely a nod to her role as the first USN carrier, allowing for early training of pilots.
Her plane loadout is entirely fighters, allowing her an incredible amount of air control/anti-plane ability for her rarity/oil cost.
