knightmare frame
The name for mecha in Code Geass. Knightmare Frames are humanoid weapons originally developed by the Holy Brittanian Army and first used during the invasion of Japan.
There also exist large non-humanoid mecha that are classified as Knight Giga Fortress, similar to the mobile armors of the Gundam series.
