kitauji quartet

The Hibike! Euphonium character grouping consisting of Oumae Kumiko's friend group: Kousaka Reina, Katou Hazuki, Kawashima Sapphire, and herself. Also refers to the musical ensemble created thereby: trumpet, euphonium, tuba, and double bass. (Example of how this sounds.)

Artists will sometimes also include Tsukamoto Shuuichi or Kuroe Mayu – thus creating a “Kitauji Quintet” – due to their close ties with the others. For tagging purposes, these characters should not be considered members of the Kitauji Quartet.

Do not apply this tag to every image of the aforementinoned characters individually, only those where all four are present.
