gn sword

A series of physical swords used by the Exia lineage of Celestial Being's Gundams in Gundam 00.

These solid swords are made of E-Carbon and are coated with GN Particles, resulting in not only increasing their cutting power and durability, but also enabling them to pierce through GN Fields, making them a primary weapon against enemies that also use GN technology.

Later generations of the GN Swords have blades which are made of the same clear, green material that is used for GN Condensers. This green material is very durable, stores GN Particles and utilizes them in several ways (such as converting them into extreme heat to enhance the blade's cutting power, generate beams, etc...), making them superior than early generations of the GN Swords.
