A famous house designed by 20th-century architect Frank Lloyd Wright, well-known for its distinctive semi-modernist architecture and its unique setting atop a waterfall (hence its name) on the Bear Run in Pennsylvania. Originally constructed in the 1930s as the residence of a Pittsburgh department store magnate, Fallingwater has been operated as a museum since the 1960s.
