The United States Colonial Marine Corps, or United States Colonial Marines, are a high-tech army of space marines tasked with the protection of human off-world colonies and the security of other planetary settlements.
They are highly trained and equipped with advanced weaponry, tactical nukes and specialized vehicles such as space cruisers, transport spacecraft, tanks, armored personnel carriers, starfighters, dropships and shuttles.
Most of their operations involve small squads supported by heavy ordinance, a capital ship used as both an assembly area transport and command base as well as high tech attack vehicles.
