Collective Shout is an Australian activist group that advocates against the objectification of women and the sexualization of girls in media, advertising, and popular culture.
In July 2025, the group got worldwide attention after successfully lobbying against the digital distribution platforms Steam and Itch.io, by targeting payment processors like Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard and calling on them to stop processing payments for these platforms through an open letter.
This resulted in a large number of games being removed from these platforms and changes to the rules regarding allowed content.
