clanker (meme)
A derogatory term for robotic beings and other artificial intelligences.
While popularised (it was coined back in 1958) in Star Wars media as a fictional slur against droids (most notably B1 Battle Droids), the term became a meme in 2025 as a derogatory term used for AI models, robots, any kind of automated machinery, or people who overly rely on LLM chatbots.
