After Marvel's attempt with Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan, Haim Saban would make his first attempt at pitching an American Sentai adaptation with Bioman. Elements of Bioman would be carried over into the eventual adaptation in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, such as Peebo inspiring Alpha 5 and the earliest instance of Zordon's name. He would try again with Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger, which would be successfully adapted.
