changing room
A room found at onsen and bathhouses where one undresses before entering the baths. Woven baskets or, increasingly, storage lockers are provided for patrons' clothing and effects.
Not to be confused with a fitting room in a clothes shop, a backstage dressing room, or a locker room for sports.
