callas (genshin impact)
An NPC from Genshin Impact. He is the founder and former president of the Spina di Rosula and also aided in the construction of the aquabus system throughout Fontaine. He is the father of Navia and husband of Clementine. His full name is Callas Caspar.
Three years prior to the events of the game, Callas entered a partnership with Marcel, who unbeknownst to him, was secretly selling Sinthe to the people of Poisson. After discovering Sinthe and its effects, Callas banned the drink and began investigating it, eventually coming into contact with a vendor named Jacques. Jacques' betrayal angered Marcel, who hired an assassin to kill both men at a banquet organized by Callas. The assassin successfully killed Jacques, but Callas survived by seizing the gun from him.
Secretly, Marcel had poured Primoridal Seaweater on the assassin which dissolved him, removing all traces of him from the crime scene in the process. With the assassin gone, Callas was blamed for the murder. Rather than defending himself in court, Callas chose to duel against Clorinde, where he was ultimately slain. Callas was highly respected throughout Fontaine, where even Neuvillette and Clorinde spoke highly of him. After the murder, many stopped supporting him and he began to be called "Callas the Unfaithful". Years later, with the help of Navia and the Traveler, Marcel was exposed and Callas' reputation was restored.
Callas had long blonde hair tied into a low ponytail over his shoulder, asymmetrical bangs, a beard and mustache, blue eyes and an eyepatch over his right eye. He wore an open black jacket overtop a white collared shirt and a black vest, a yellow ascot, a collared black cape, black gloves and black pants.
