byerley turk (umamusume)

In Umamusume, the Byerley Turk refers both to one of the Three Goddesses of the Umamusume universe as well as a training AI based on her, who is one of the hosts of the Grand Masters scenario. She represents "Discipline" and is represented by the color yellow.

A horse girl, she has short brown and black two-toned hair as well as purple eyes. She wears a yellow military-style outfit and has a scar across her left eye. Overall, she somewhat resembles Symboli Rudolf (and not by coincidence, as described below). She has a crown-like ear ornament on her right ear.

She is based on the Byerley Turk, one of the foundation sires of the Thoroughbred breed of horses. Her military theme is based on the fact that the real Byerley Turk was originally a war horse. Through Herod, he is the sire-line ancestor of about 4% of all Thoroughbreds. In the context of Umamusume, he is the real-life ancestor of only 6 characters: Those who are part of Partholon's sire-line (Symboli Rudolf, Tokai Teio, Tsurumaru Tsuyoshi, Samson Big and Mejiro McQueen) as well as Daitaku Helios.
