boymoder
A term that originated from 4chan's /lgbt/ board used to describe a trans woman who, while transitioning, continues to presents herself as male in public. Frequently done to avoid scrutiny, harassment and for safety measures. It may also be done as a temporary measure until she's ready to come out to her family or coworkers.
Boymoder is commonly depicted with short dark brown or black hair, styled in a bob cut with blunt bangs and blunt ends. She wears a long-sleeved black hoodie with red text that says "BOY" with the O being a mars symbol. Interpretations of Boymoder may include black pants and black shoes or simply black thighhighs. She sometimes carries an ikea shark. She is partly based off Nanase Kurumi.
The extreme version of boymoder is referred to as a "manmoder" whilst the trans man equivalent of boymoder is referred to as a girlmoder.
