Also referred to as a blowlamp, a blowtorch is an ambient air fuel-burning tool used for applying flame and heat to various applications, usually in metalworking. The most common and known variant is the handheld propane torch, whose main use is for soldering and brazing.
Not to be confused with flamethrower, which is a weapon designed to launch fire at distance.
