Big Barda (also known as Barda Free) is a DC Comics anti-superhero.

She first appeared in Mister Miracle #4 (October 1971), and was created by Jack Kirby. Barda is very tall and has superhuman strength and endurance. She is usually seen wearing a superhero costume consisting of a red cape and a blue and golden armored uniform with a similarly colored helmet. Barda is also armed with an energy firing golden mace.

Her physical appearance is based on actress Lainie Kazan, who at the time of the character's creation had recently appeared topless in Playboy.
