The Astra Militarum (also known as the Imperial Guard) are a tabletop army for Warhammer 40K, one of the primary factions within the Imperium of Man.

The Imperial Guard is characterized by being regular human soldiers in an apocalyptic future hellscape. The Guard is made up of countless different regiments, each with their own appearance, tactics and equipment. Many Guard regiments are based on or modeled after a particular historical army. Always well known for fielding massive numbers of troops, in recent years the Imperial Guard has also become known for their large variety of tanks.
