The third instalment in the Alien franchise, released in 1992.

The film follows Ellen Ripley, the only survivor of a crash that kills most of the supporting cast of Aliens. She finds that she's on a prison planet, and that an alien somehow got there, formed from a dog (or an ox on the extended DVD cut)

The film is seen by plenty of people as the worst film in the franchise.
