alena (dq4)

One of the main characters in Dragon Quest IV. Also known as Arena or Alina. Despite her outfit most resembling a witch, she is primarily a martial artist and uses claws like the Martial Artist of Dragon Quest III. She is the princess of Santohaim (localized as Santeem in the NES version and Zamoksva in the Nintendo DS remake). Alena is easily recognizable by her long curly red hair (sometimes drawn orange or brown), cape, and distinctive hat. In the DS remake, she has a Russian accent.
