On May 24, 2022, a school shooting occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, United States. The perpetrator, former student, 18-year old Salvador Ramos, murdered 21 people, including 19 students aged 9-11 and 2 teachers where Ramos was subsequently killed by police. it is the third deadliest American school shooting and the deadliest school shooting in Texas.
