Tomino Yoshiyuki (born 富野 喜幸 November 5, 1941) is a notable Japanese mecha anime story creator and writer, responsible for perhaps making the first real robot anime. He created and first introduced the now popular term mobile suit for that series.
Tomino is also infamous for having some series end with numerous characters dying, earning him the nickname "Kill'em All Tomino" (皆殺しの富野 Minagoroshi no Tomino).
