Overman King Gainer is a TV science fiction anime series, created by Sunrise. Directed by longtime mecha anime writer and director Tomino Yoshiyuki, the creator of the Gundam series, written by Ōkouchi Ichirō, and featuring character designs by Inoue Kiyoshirou, Nishimura Kinu and Yoshida Ken'ichi.
The series ran from September 7, 2002 to March 22, 2003 on Japan's WOWOW network, spanning a total of 26 episodes.
