The song became controversial due to its lyrics heavily reinforcing Teto's advanced official age of 31 (hence the title) paired with her inappropriate romantic overtures to the more minor-coded Ui despite the latter rejecting her multiple times, though it should be noted Ui is never in any serious danger from Teto in the song.
