In her second remodeling, hair flaps have formed in her hair, and she gains a hair decoration (either salvaged from or based on one of Fusou's or Yamashiro's) and she wears the same uniform as Yuudachi but with a straight necktie.
Her hair flaps and neck piece are near duplicates of those on Yuudachi (and would become a hallmark for all subsequent Shiratsuyu-class remodels), and because of this the two girls are frequently portrayed together, despite the fact that the real ships shared no common operations. The hair flaps also look much like a dog's floppy ears, and because of this she is (and Yuudachi too) often given doggish mannerisms, despite her in-game personality having no doggish mannerisms.
