Originates from a meme dubbing over an episode of Sonic Prime with Sonic asking Shadow why he wants to go to Mexico, to which Shadow responds with "I just love Latinas, Sonic".
Later a viral TikTok audio would expand on the meme, with Shadow going on a long rant about his love for Latinas:
"Shoutout to all the Latinas. The goth ones, the cowboy boot wearing ones, the crazy ones, I don't care. I see a Latina bitch with white or black toes and I start acting like a damn dog."
Intentional or not to the creator of the meme, Rouge, a female character often seen alongside Shadow in games, has traits of Honduran white bat and designed after the sex appeal of famous Latina actors like Jennifer Lopez.
