When a character is gradually vanishing into nothingness. Typically rendered as the person being partially transparent or parts of the body disappearing from one end to the other.

If a person seems to be merely drawn as semi-transparent, rather than actually being so (such as for the sake of showing something behind them), consider using x-ray, zoom layer, or projected inset instead.

Use dissolving instead if a character is turning into liquid or smoke.
