Dragon Quest Monsters, or Dragon Warrior Monsters (North America), is a spin off series of the Dragon Quest games. Unlike the main series games, the player's character does not fight directly. Instead, various monsters are captured, trained and used to battle other monsters, similar to the Pokemon games.
