A Kong introduced in Donkey Kong Country, and a frequent participant in Mario spinoffs since Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
Nimble and acrobatic, he is Donkey Kong's little buddy and most reliable adventuring friend of the Kong Family. Dixie Kong is his girlfriend.
Recognizable by his trademark red baseball cap that's usually printed with the Nintendo logo and his red sleeveless shirt that has two yellow stars printed on them.
Diddy Kong would haphazardly be called Donkey Kong's nephew in early material on occasion, but modern official bios disregard this entirely.
