DC Comics is one of the largest and oldest American comic book publishing houses, founded in 1934. Rival to Marvel Comics (even though both release crossover comics from time to time).

The majority of its publications take place within the DC Universe and feature numerous iconic superheroes and villains, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman.
